What to expect, hour by hour

Fresh flower jewelry ages on a fairly predictable curve. Here is what a normal piece looks like through a wedding day.

Hours 0 to 2. Peak. Colours saturated, fragrance strongest, petals firm.
Hours 3 to 6. Still beautiful. Slight softening, slight loss of fragrance, photo-ready.
Hours 7 to 10. Natural aging visible. Jasmine yellows. Light roses may brown at the edges. Marigolds and darker roses hold.
Hour 11 and beyond. Past prime. Still wearable for a final exit but no longer ideal for photos.

Storage and timing

A few petals have browned. Gently remove the affected petals. Most arrangements are designed with enough flowers that small removals are invisible.
Jasmine has yellowed. This is normal aging, not damage. The fragrance remains. If the visible colour bothers you, we can substitute roses or marigolds on future orders.

If something significant goes wrong, message us as soon as you can. We keep limited backup pieces for emergencies during peak wedding weekends.
